Coming down from the weekend highs

Counting down to this weekend's Hoedown. This will be my third, and I have to say they're hard to ignore as the town temporarily grows to 2 or 3 times its normal size.

I keep thinking about how they shut down Backpage for enabling safer sex work. This is from lower down on the digital front page of the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel today. I know it's not the same thing, but this is on a sliding scale of the same friggin thing.

I think one of the reasons why ADOS [American Descendants Of Slaves] freaks out the establishment Democrats is that this movement reminds them a little bit too much of ACORN, a subject they would rather not revisit.

I look forward to seeing if there is any media coverage of the ADOS Claim the Name conference coming up in October.

A Newsweek link so out of embarrassment I'm burying it in the obits, but good news for Bernie just the same!

Screenshots aren't ideal but the best jokes are still on Twitter even if I can't figure out the links (OK, I'm not trying very hard).

More later, maybe. Still sorting out how I feel about blogging again. Was pretty much dead set against it but I set my mind free this weekend and the rotten little fucker created a blog while I wasn't paying attention.
